About
AppleRidge Farm
Our Story
AppleRidge Farm is owned by Larkspur Carroll, DVM. Raised in a bustling racing family who saddled Graded Stakes winners for storied owners such as the Farish's, Larkspur learned to look for the subtleties in a horse's movement to inform how she cared for and trained them at an early age.

Spending her early career as a thoroughbred racetrack practitioner, she transitioned to a specialized field in chiropractic and acupuncture services. In 2008, Larkspur formed CORE Therapies and went into private practice.
As her equine chiropractic and therapy business grew, a gap in the industry became apparent. Horses were in need of an environment thoughtfully constructed to manage the fit racehorses or sporthorse; whether they need rest and a freshening, or specific injury rehabilitation. So to ensure that those horses are able to get the therapies they need to recover successfully, Dr. Carroll opened AppleRidge Farm.
