About

AppleRidge Farm

Our Story

Raised in a bustling racing family who saddled Graded Stakes winners for storied owners such as the Farish's, Larkspur Carroll learned to look for the subtleties in a horse's movement to inform how she cared for and trained them at an early age.

Spending her early career as a thoroughbred racetrack practitioner, keeping racehorses healthy was an easy move to make. As her equine chiropractic and therapy business grew, a gap in the industry became apparent. Many of the horses she was treating were laid up or in physical rehab and they needed her services more often.

So to ensure that those specific horses are able to get the therapies they need to recover successfully, Dr. Carroll opened AppleRidge Farm. AppleRidge operates for one purpose: to provide the therapies that horses in rehab need to thrive in recovery.
